"Courage Over Comfort"
Kiki Symone is a professional dancer, choreographer, and mentor originally from Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her professional dance career began at 14 years old when she booked her first award shows dancing alongside Latin artists Elvis Crespo and Abraham Mateo. She was then hired to dance regularly on Univision’s hit TV show, Sabado Gigantè, before touring with R&B artist Teenear in 2015. After graduating from Somerset Arts Conservatory High School, Kiki moved to New York City to pursue a B.F.A in Commercial Dance and Choreography at Pace University. Since then, Kiki has been featured modeling for Adidas and dancing in industry showcases, music videos, and television including Caribbean artist Chi Ching Ching’s “Cause Trouble” music video under the direction of Tanisha Scott, the BET Hip Hop Awards performing with 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, and Dee Caspary’s contemporary musical theater rendition of “Cell Block Tango” as a lead dancer. She has
also performed in concert pieces for choreographers Al Blackstone, Michael Rooney, Martha Nichols, Robert Taylor Jr. and the
Fosse/Verdon Launch Party for Barton Movement Productions in Los Angeles.
Off the stage Kiki is passionate about teaching dance. Kiki works with nonprofit organizations and dance studios sharing her passion and knowledge of the art form. Her mission is to encourage artists to tap into their potential and pursue the dreams that they are most
passionate about.
